·   Nikhil Rungta appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer of Housing.com
·   New Zealand won Rugby World Cup for third time in the Final played at the Twickenham Stadium in London.
·   American actor Al Molinaro, has died at the age of 96 in California. He played a role of Big Al Delvecchio in sitcomHappy Days.
·   Facebook to help BSNL in setting up 100 WiFi sites in rural areas of western and southern India.

·   Human Resource Development Ministry has set up a committee to draft the new education policy. The committee will be headed by former Cabinet secretary T.S.R. Subramanian
·   Professor VN Misra (Archaeologist and previous director of the Deccan School) has passed away on 31st October,2015.

·   Air Marashal Virender Mohan Khanna is appointed as the Air Officer-in-charge  Maintenance (AOM) of Indian Air Force.
