  • Kerala Tourism has won the Favourite Indian Leisure Destination prize at the Conde Nast Travel Awards 2015. The Conde Nast Traveller India Readers Travel Awards, which is in its fifth year, has been honored the best in travel, tourism and hospitality. 
  • Senior Congress MLA Sadanand Singh on 30th November took oath as the Pro-tem Speaker of the Bihar Assembly.
  • Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on 30th November launched a network of 1200 CCTV Cameras Phase I of Mumbai City Surveillance Project.
    • Imp. : The Mumbai city surveillance project of installation of over 6,000 CCTVs would be completed before the 26/11 terror attacks anniversary next year.
  • 'ICGS C-422’, A Coast Guard interceptor boat has been commissioned at Karaikal further enhancing vigil along Puducherry and South Tamil Nadu coast.
    • Imp. Details about ICGS C-422 
      • ICGS C-422 is the 36th interceptor boat to be inducted into the Coast Guard service.
      • The boat is capable of multiple tasks including interdiction, surveillance and search and rescue. It has been fitted with state-of-the-art communication, navigational equipment along with adequate fire power.
      • Presently, Indian Coast Guard has two fast patrol vessels ICGS Rani Durgavati and ICGS Ameya along with two interceptor boats C-428 and C-415 stationed at Karaikal port.
  • The 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) and the 11th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) will take place from 30th November to 11th December 2015, in Paris, France.
  • German Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg has won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 30th November.
    • This is his third successive victory of this season.
  • Andy Murray ended Great Britain's 79-year wait for a 10th Davis Cup title by defeating Belgium's David Goffin today.
